Other than roasts and turkeys (which I love to make often on a rotisserie) aren’t they all? Throw a steak in skillet, flip eat. Most of my fish comes from a can, but I would imagine a fish filet would work about the same Pork & chicken take longer but same technique (cover & lower heat) I usually cook 20-30# at a time and freeze. Usually I do a turkey then a roast on the rotisserie, so i only have one clean up. Then make soup with the bones or turkey salad over lettuce or shredded cabbage, or chop turkey, mix in eggs & cheese & broccoli & nuke a couple of minutes. Last time I did real cooking I make 12# of beef short ribs in my oversized crock pot with a pepper sauce. It’s too hot to cook this time of year, but even the rotisserie is easy. Lot of times I’ll make omelets or scramble eggs & sausage in pan with broccoli or eggs, cheese brocolli in bowl, nuke 2 min. I’ve been eating a lot of canned mackerel and herring lately straight out of the can with mayo & pork rinds. It’s 95F in my kitchen with no a/c.
Don’t forget that although they call it a high protein diet unless your calories are 65% fat you will be in glucosis (burning glucose) and not
ketosis (burning fat) Mayo and butter should be used liberally. I’ve included a couple of my favorite easy recipes & website links to recipes.
Ground flax seed and/or chia seed (2-3 Tbsp) 1/4 cup of water, cinnamon, artificial sweetener, mix in a raw egg – let sit 10 min to absorb liquid, put some cream cheese in the middle and nuke for 1.5 min. for hot cereal or 2 min. for more of a muffin type thing. Great low carb, high fiber treat.
Faux tapioca – 2 cups of water, 5 scoops of low carb whey protein powder, stir together & add cup of chia seeds, after they have started to absorb the water, add in 2 cans of coconut milk & artificial sweetener if you like and mix it all in. Can be eaten after an hour but will be better tomorrow. Cream a pkg. of cream cheese into a can of pumpkin and add to the faux tapioca for an even more nutritious pumpkin pie pudding.
