Answer If You Are On A Low Carb Diet: What Do You Eat Throughout The Day? How Many Grams Do You Eat?
I’m 5′ 2″ and about 129-130 lbs. I’m 21 years old and female. I want to lose about 20 pounds, but I’m afraid a low carb diet might slow down my metabolism and cause me to gain weight when I go off of it. I was thinking about doing low carb for a few weeks and then go back to my low fat/low calorie diet. Any suggestions from those with experience would be great…thanks!
I eat low carb yogurt, low carb bread with a bit of peanut butter, fruit, cheese sticks, celery and peanut butter, nuts (unsalted), and some low carb bars are tasty.
Doing low carb does not mean NO carb… that would be a bit unhealthy. But adding a bit (I try to keep it under 25 grams0 of carbs will give you energy and help keep cravings at bay. Also, for your proteins use lean meats. Turkey bacon and turkey burgers are great ways to eat meat and not have a heart attack!
Then when you do come off the low carb thing you wont gain all your weight back.

I hope you will change your mind about the low carb diet. You must know that is really unhealthy. There are a lot of bad side effects as well, bad breath is just one of them. Before you do this I hope you will check with your doctor.
