Why Are My Muscles Twitching?!?

One morning in the middle of November I woke up and my muscles were literally twiching all over my body. Ever since then it has not stopped. I never had this before. Its really annoying and embarassing when people notice it. It happens all day and all night. I had some blood work done and everything looked okay. i don’t have any muscle wasting either. Two weeks prior to this starting, I was working out heavily in a gym and dieting on a high protein low carb diet. I haven’t worked out since before this started. I also had a lot dental work done, but I had the white composite fillings in. I didn’t know if any of this could be a cause or not. Its driving me mad? What else could it be?

Do you get enough potassium? You can buy supplements at GNC. You could try that. I’ve had problems with muscles twitching in the past and potassium helped me. You can just eat a banana if you don’t want to buy the supplement.
Here’s a few pages that talk about the role of potassium in the body much better than I could: http://extension.osu.edu/~news/story.php…http://www.ext.colostate.edu/PUBS/foodnu…

The phrase, "negative calorie food", as highlighted in negative calorie diet programs and books, usually refers to foods that allegedly require more energy to digest than they contain. Since the process of digestion requires the use of calories for energy, sometimes the net amount of metabolizable energy available from a food is less than the gross number of calories contained in the food.
