Will The Multi-vitamin Product Called Stresstabs Effect The Results Of A Low Carb Diet Like Atkins?

I know it has lots of Iron and I think you should avoid extra Iron in Low Carb but what about the rest…Does it contain carbs or any other substance that will raise blood sugar?

All supplements are regulated as to their contents. The asterisk next to the claims will just lead you back to the part of the label that states “these statements have not been evaluated by the FDA”.That just means that they don’t stand behind the efficacy of the supplement. It would still be illegal for a company to say that it does or doesn’t contain certain things if it weren’t true.
I do however agree that you should consult the guidelines of the diet because even slight deviations will render it ineffective.I know that I’m not answering your question, just making corrections to some statements.
And yes that’s the correct spelling for asterisk.I won’t even hit the spell check.

At the beggining of the Atkins diet there are some supplements listed that work with that diet. I would go with those. So many supplements are non-regulated that you don’t know what’s in it, and the ones in the Atkin’s book are formulated for/by them (atkins).

Read the lable and do a little internet research.
When in doubt, email the Dr. Atkin’s website and ask. I forget the URL for the diet, but it’s free to go there and they might can help.
Also, remember, anything with caffine in it will cause a slight bloodsugar spike. I think Kava might have some, but not sure what ingrediants are in this product.
Also, if you call up your local pharmacy, the pharmisist on duty could probrably tell you. Due to diabetes being very common these days, it’s their job to know things like this.
Just tell them you’re diabetic or rather on a diabetic diet…(no insulin just diet controled) or looking out for your bloodsugar. That should be all the explination you need to give.
