I swear by this lifestyle. Apart from loosing weight and feeling better abut eating healthier, here is what I experienced:
    1. I always would have a natural high, I felt like i got more than enuogh sleep and was in the best mood (I avoided sugars as well and concentrated on vegetables, meats, and proteins like nuts/soy beans)
    2. My headaches went away (biggest bonus)
    3. I never craved food (I used to always “feel like having something”).
    4. Because I also took vitamins/supliments my skin was amazing. I actually stopped wearing all but eye makeup because my skin was so even and perfect. My hair was also really pretty. I would get random compliments.
    5. Because I stopped buying most processed boxed food and concentrated on fresh vegetables/meats, I really saved a lot of money on grocery bills and eating out. When we ate out, it was always to nicer restaurants.

There is no real benefit to low-carb. Control your carbs according to portion amounts. People on low-carb diets lose less weight and a lot more muscle than people on high-protein and fiber/complex-carb diets, who actually gain substantial muscle if working out.
Protein fills you up and satisfies you, reduces insulin and leptin, increases insulin tolerance (so that when you do eat crap, it’s way slower to store as fat, around 2.52 times slower).
Quite simply, protein is not only something bodybuilders or powerlifters should eat a lot of, but is also the most fantastic weight loss product in existence.

low carb high protein diets have been widely promoted in recent years as an effective way to lose weight. The atkkins diet is a typical example of a low carb-high protein diet. By restricting carbs drastically to a mere fraction of your normal diet the body goes into a different metabolic state called ketosis where it burns its own fat for fuel. Normally the body burns carbohydrates for fuel-this is the main source of fuel for the brain, heart and many other organs. A person in ketosis is getting energy from ketones little cabon fragments that are the fuel created by the breakkdown of fatstores. When the body is in ketosis you tend to feel less hungry and thus eat less than you might otherwise. As a result your body changes from a carbohydrate burnibg engine to a fat burning engine resulting in significant weight loss around your hips, thighs and belly. However this is not 100% safe as consuming too much protein can make a person susceptible to kidney disease so chose wisely

more energy, massive fat loss, muscle growth/maintainance despite weight loss, easy to put on muscle weight training, better triglyceride and cholesterol levels.
