What Are The Best Fruits And Veggies To Eat On A Low-carb Diet?

Almost all vegetables with the exception of potatos are naturally low in carboydrates because they are fiberous, which slows the digestion of carboydrates and decreases their glycemic load.
In terms of fruits, most are fairly high in carbohydrates because they contain fructose (a fruit sugar.) Your best bets are blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and strawberries.
If you are on an ultra-low-carb/ketogenic diet like Atkins (which I am not recommending), you have to eliminate all fruit during the intitial “induction” phase.
I’ve included a link below to a lists of low-carb foods.
Best of luck!
