		<description>Good idea. I went low carb and lost 72 pounds and gained a helluva lot of energy and youth back and it was definitely the end of my diabetes.
I also eat eggs, but not often - 
So some ideas ---
Skip the salads and eat them just occasionally - they aren&#039;t much more than water - but the fresh veggies have good carbs.
Eat lots of cheese. (Cheese generally has no carbs or very very low carbs.) Do not eat: bread, potatoes or rice (the big 3 sins) every day. Now, notice I said every day? Yeah, have some once in awhile, but everyday is very very bad for you. It will make you sick and fat!
Lots of fresh fruit. Lots of water. 
Dhal is good. Cauliflower in any dish is good.
Avoid carbs in the form of idli, dosa and such every day. Uppumma as well if you are a southie like me...
A typical day for me is:
Oats in the morning with pickle and a sprinkling of nuts.
Lunch is veg chili (make with Soya crumbles, and veggies and cheese, onions, tomatoes, spices, whatever you like...)
Dinner is whatever everybody else in the house is having - maybe 2 chapatis and LOTS of veggies and a 1/2 cup of dhal.
Dhal is very good for you by the way - high protein.
High protein/low-carb gives you the most weight loss the fastest. 
Eggs are great. Cheese as mentioned before. Soya in any form is superb.
To truly maximize your efforts make little changes in your life. Take stairs. Walk a lot. Stretch and do something every day that makes you sweat a little bit. You don&#039;t have to join a health club. Just breathe and take a walk or sweep the floors where you live or do somethign physical. You&#039;ll feel much better, I promise!

Carrot Asparagus Soup
Asparagus - 150g (cut in 2cm sections)
Carrots - 2 to 4 (cut in 2cm cubes)
Vegetable soup stock - 2 to 3 cups
Salt and black pepper (add to taste)
Cilantro - 3 strands (for garnish)
Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
Bring soup stock to a boil, and add in the carrots and asparagus.
Add salt and pepper. Boil for 3 to 5 minutes until the veggies are cooked.
Dish in a bowl, garnish with cilantro and sesame oil.
The beauty of many Chinese vegetarian recipes is their simplicity. (At least I try my best to make them simple, and delicious.) This Chinese soup should take only maybe 5 to 10 minutes to cook. Here&#039;s a whole lot of simple and healthy vegetarian Chinese recipes you can cook in minutes.

 4 servings.
Ingredients:-
-1 1/2 oz. crispy rice cereal
-4 tbsp. peanut butter
-1 tbsp. honey
-1 sm. box (diet) instant chocolate pudding
-2 c. skim milk
-1 med. banana (thinly sliced)
Method:-
1) Mix peanut butter and honey.
2) Heat in microwave on high for 20 seconds. Stir in cereal. 
3) Press mixture into bottom of a 9 inch pie plate. Chill.
4) Prepare pudding.
5) Place banana slices evenly over crust. 
6) Spread pudding over bananas. Chill. Cut pie in quarters. 
Each serving counts as 1/2 fruit serving, 1 milk serving, 1 protein serving, 1 fat serving, 1/2 bread serving. 
Great to eat while dieting or anytime!
