I Have Recently Started A High Protein, Low Calorie, Low Carb Diet. Has Anyone Had Much Luck With It ? ?
I did that diet for 3 years. I lost 45 lbs. in 3 months and kept it off as long as I ate the low carb way. I was under supervision of a doctor when I did the diet. I tried it again a few years ago and could not lose a pound. When it did work for me, I was allowed to eat up to 45 grams of carbs a day.
It depends what your needs are. For me, it mostly turned fat into muscle — but I exercise a lot now.
I haven’t lost much weight doing this. It just shifts.
