I’ve always tried to keep my weight down.
I’ve tried lots of diets but the low carb one
worked best for me. I guess the reason being you don’t have to stay hungry. You can eat all the meat and other low carb foods that you want. After 48 hours with very low carbs you really don’t get that hungry. It worked for me.
I’m on my way down, going low cal,
212 down to 175
I had success with my low carb diet. I lost 30 pounds in 7 months, but I did not follow the traditional diet. I recieived a diet from my doctor and then I tweeked it some to fit into my schedule and fimsanciasl budget. One easy thing to do is don’t eat anything that is more than 19-22 grams of carbs not the tradional no more that 30 carbs in a day
Well done! what an acheivment how many calories u eaten a day? And u do mind givin ur age if thats ok with u .
We are dropping weight steadily with low-carb, low cal, highfiber and high nutrition foods plus 30 minutes or more of good exercise every day. I feel better, look better and am losing weight for the first time in my life. I am not hungry and my skin cleared up. My mom’s blood pressure went from very high to normal in only two weeks and her triglycerides and cholesterol also dropped within normal limits. Her blood sugar dropped to normal as well. All it took was eating mostly vegetables, some whole grains, some fruits, skim milk and exercising. We eat fish two times a week, dropped red meat to once a week in small portions, and reduced meat portions to one to 4 ounces. We take flaxseed oil as well and a good multivitamin. She feels great and looks better than ever. My aunt is down 30 pounds in 3 months and more fit at 60 than in her entire life. My mom started two weeks ago and is down 7 pounds and feeling better than she has in years. We eat at the same times each day to maintain metabolism and blood sugars, drink plenty of water and dropped the junk food altogether. It works and it feels good. I am all for it. Bodies need carbohydrates to function, but choosing healthy foods and good carbs high in nutrition and fiber makes our bodies metabolize fats, drop blood sugar, and use calories more efficiently. Our new way of living decreases numerous risks of disease such as type 2 diabetes, heart, kidney, and digestive disease. It has been great. It is not a diet at all. It is a new, healthier way of living. I love it. I also enjoy finally losing weight after many years of failed “diets”.
