Well cut down on the bread definitely…
Replace the grains you eat now with whole grains >If it doesn’t say 100% whole grains on the ingredients… then it’s not… they try to trick people with words like “multi grain” and “made with whole grains”<
Eat more complex carbs… Simple carbs just cause the blood sugar to raise quickly and then drop back down… and then you will be hungry again…causing you to eat more.
Complex carbs absorb slowly into the system, you will be full longer.
Increase your fiber intake… most foods that are high in fiber are higher in complex carbs…
Eat fruits, veggies, beans and whole grains… you should be fine… you can still eat eggs and cheese if you want… just tone down the cheese intake… it’s not all that good for you, especially if your trying to lose weight.
Also, weight loss can have to do with the type of work out you are doing. If you are building muscles you will end up gaining weight.
Try to burn more calories than you take in… things like running/jogging and biking are good.
Hope I helped. And Good Luck.

Cut back on those grains. That includes, wheat, corns, rice etc. Do extra on Green Veggies. You will be surprised at how you weight will change.
PS If you are allergic(unknowingly) to wheat or gluten cutting it out will really drop your weight.

Cut your carbs and you will lose weight. I became diabetic. I was not overweight. I lost weight very quickly because I had to cut the carbs. Bread, cheese and milk are high in carbs.
Chicken is very low in carbs. If you eat it grilled and with the skin removed it is good for you. Seafood is very high in
cholesterol. I suggest you look up a good diabetic diet and follow that. Since you aren’t diabetic( you don’t say that you are) You would not have to follow it forever just till you learned more about carbs etc. Good luck to you.

Tons of fresh veggies w/ olive oil! Tofu, almonds. And watch the cheese and milk, they add fat and calories like crazy.

Increasing your exercise is always going to be better at helping you lose weight than modifying your diet. But really the only things to cut in your diet are fats and simple sugars.
    But not eliminate, cut.
Did you talk to your doctor about this?
The adkins diet is not healthy – and was intended for emergency situations under medical supervision only.
cut simple sugars – soda, juice, etc
increase fiber – brown rice instead of white rice, etc.
The best way is to eat foods low in number on the glycemic indexhttp://www.top5plus5.com/Glycemic%20Inde…
if you use this link and scroll down then you will find a link you can download the index.
you dont’ have to eat low carbs, your body needs carbs. The Adkins diet is high in fat and is hard on the liver and pancreas, and is not safe – it has advantages, and has uses for emergency situations, but that isn’t something that should ever be done without medical help. The adkins diet says that you should have medical supervision and you shouldn’t do any low carb diet without supervision.
you’ll find that lowering your fats will help you lose more weight than lowering your carbs.

Try whole grain products for the breads in your life. You can get whole wheat pasta, brown rice, whole grain breads. They are full of fiber which is better for your body than the carbs found in regular bread products.

Since I’ve gone vegan I can hardly believe how many calories I save by not eating cheese and creamy stuff. Seriously, a veggie burger without the cheese and mayo saves like 150 calories or more. It’s amazing how many things I used to eat that would have cheese on them – burritos, tostadas, sandwiches, pastas, etc. – those calories add p at the end of the day! I just don’t use cheese at all on most things and when really want cheese I use vegan stuff and it’s more like a treat than a topping for EVERYTHING like it was before. The other suggestions about whole grains are right on the money – there is practically no nutritional value in stuff made from white flour. Increase your vegetables so you’re getting like 50% of your diet from veggies, DO NOT SKIP THE FRUIT because you think it has too many carbs – it’s just not natural. Our bodies were meant to eat this stuff, we just need to eat it right. Try and cut back on processed crap. The healthiest culutres on this planet suck down the carbs (think rice). Get a book lke the China Study – fascinating stuff. And burn an effigy of Atkins. That guy was a dangerous, evil man! I can stand to lose a few pounds and since I’ve made the changes I’ve mentioned I have become so much leaner. Please don’t try and go on some wacky diet! Just educate yourself about nutrition and remember the NUMBER ONE thing about losing weight:
YOU HAVE TO BURN MORE CALORIES THAN YOU TAKE IN.
    Good luck!

Cheese is really fatty, like nearly butter fatty. Swich all your carbs to whole wheat, whole grain- even the pasta. You will eat less. Eat more vegetables, seriously at least two large servings for lunch and dinner. Notice your potato chip and corn chip intake. Use reduced fat salad dressing, Newman’s Own is the best in terms of all natural and good tasting. Eat half the amount of egg yolks.
If you want to go hard core, go to http://www.ravediet.com and buy the book/DVD combo.

You can eat a high carbohydrate diet in the mornings because you need a lot of energy for your daily activities. You must include a lot of protein for lunch along with carbohydrates. Vegetables and fruits have to be consumed in the evening because they do not contain fats and also increase the metabolism. Tomatoes and strawberries burn the excess calories. Dinner should include very little carbohydrates.

Wow…you’ll have probs cause a meat diet is no carb where veg is loaded…try going with soy items, but find a dietician to help too
