I was the low carb king… That was until all of the “trendy” low carb stores went under! I sure do miss them…. I haven’t been able to find much without ordering off the internet yet. I like Hickory Farms beef sticks and any type of real cheese, pepperoni sticks, Dannon Light and Fit carb and sugar control yogurt, low carb bread (net 4 by Franz), peanut butter, bacon, Atkins carmel nut chew bars, crystal light powders that you can add to water etc… I lost over a hundred pounds following Atkins four years ago. I kept all except 20 pounds off after the stores went out of business. After that happened, I let myself go and gained back 20 pounds. I have several excuses… So then I decided to join weight watchers. I started new years day and only lost 9 pounds in two months… I nearly starved with only a twenty point allowance a day. After that nine pounds, the weight wouldn’t come off at all no matter what I did. I increased my excercise (which I hate) and spread out my points as best I could, but it wouldn’t budge! So I decided last friday to start back on Atkins. With it I was never hungry. After the first two weeks, you can add back carbs and have a reward meal! Just don’t go beserk! Also, keep the reward meal the same time every day. It hasn’t even been a week yet and I’m down 9 pounds! It’s amazing… After the two week initiation period you can eat healthier. It changed my life and I shouldn’t have strayed. You can find several websights for help and I find a lot of books at second hand stores… I’ve been grosly obese and a diabetic all of my life. Now I can say that people who haven’t known me very long tell me all the time that they can’t believe that I was ever heavy. I don’t take insulin anymore either… I hope that I’ve helped. Hang in there, and good luck!

Raw carrot sticks, and fruit of all kinds is always a healthy no fat option. If you do a cardio work out instead of ” snacking ” you’ll feel full after, and have the benefit of no snacks between meals…smile.
    Good Luck!
