Anything will work- it’s the amount of CALORIES that count. There are some dangers in a high protein diet b/c it’s puts extra stress on your kidneys. So don’t do this if you have a kidney problem. Also, your brain runs on carbohydrates so expect to feet really tired and sort of groggy.
Its not what you eat it’s the calories they’re worth- THAT’S the true key
    good luck!

In the long run, it didn’t work for them.
There are over 200 carbohydrates found in nature and we cannot survive without specific carbohydrates.
You need complex carbohydrates. Carbohydrates with fiber.
Avoid carbohydrates that are man made and refined, like white bread, white rice, sour dough bread, died fake wheat bread, sugar cereals, sugary corn syrup products etc.
Complex carbohydrates include leafy greens, chopped salads, mixed medley of raw vegetables from bell peppers, onions, garlic, tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, beets, etc.
Complex carbohydrates include raw whole oranges, papayas, pineapples, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, mangoes, etc.
Complex carbohydrates also include beans, string beans to Lima beans to black and pinto beans of every kind. Very high in fiber and full of vitamins and protein. Whole rice with the husk like bamati brown rice and or wild rice.
Eat 7 to 9 servings of raw whole organic fruits and vegetables every day and stay away from refined junk foods.
Eat about 4 oz of animal protein included with a meal. You do not need to over do it.
Snack healthy to keep blood sugar even and to keep your body and brain working optimally. Like raw nuts, raw whole fruit and or organic trail mix (enough to fit in the palm of your hand).
Replace flavored beverages with plain water.

No, everyone in the health industry have known that low carb diets aren’t healthy or effective for a long time now.
The general populace is just now getting to the point where they’re thinking that people like Atkins (who died prematurely from being generally unhealthy) might not know what they’re talking about.
Anyway, your body needs carbs to function. Without them, your body will have a very hard time creating energy at a cellular level and you’ll feel sluggish and you will metabolize what you eat a lot slower. What most practitioners mistake for weightloss is actually temporary water-weightloss. Without carbs, your body is less able to store water to keep you hydrated.
So you’ll loose 10 lbs at most and then no more, and you’ll feel like crap.
