Which No-carb/low-carb Foods Are Not Too Expensive?

I am on a no carb/super low-carb diet. Strictly meat, eggs, cheese, nuts & salad. It’s hard to shop because meat is very expensive and so is cheese! And i have to buy in bulk since thats all i will be eating everyday.. Those are the main things i love to eat! The grocery stores around here are Walmart, the commissary, Piggly Wiggly, Food Lion, and Kroger (but its farther then i’d like to go).

    Cottage cheese
    Eggs
    Water (it’s free!)
Be careful on this kind of diet. You could be setting yourself up for diabetes, and there is a strong rebound effect in terms of weight gain post-diet. Good job with your diet!

I know thats tough. Protein is not cheap. U doing well already buying bulk. I always look for sales, esp boneless/skinless chicken & freeze it. & tuna sales.
And eggs & milk are sky rocketing.
Those egg-whites in cartons, on sale of course.
And try whey, in a big canister. Great wwith skim milk in a shake. Walmart sells Bodyfortress for 2lbs @ $14. Good stuff for the prices. Costco etc sell whey in 10lb bags, cheaper.

http://www.imedmart.com has a lot of low carb goodies and their prices can’t be beat. I buy from them all of the time and their shipping is low cast and fast also.

Boneless chicken breast. Can get about $2 dollars per pound. Also pumpkin seeds! Best food ever.
