Is This A Good Diet? Why Do I Crave Something Like Crunchy Breadsticks With My Salad?
I drink a low carb slim fast in the morning & a couple bottles of water.
I have a salad for lunch. Usually, spinach, broccolli, peas, green pepper or red/yellow, slivered almonds & sunflower seeds. a chopped black olive, beets, sometimes a hard boiled egg or cod fish or whatever that immatation lobster is, a peice of pinapple, a strawberry, other fruits occasionaly & berries when the salad bar has them. thousand island dressing oh, and sometimes this delicious oriental noodles.
dinner might be a peice of fish or chicken the size of a deck of cards & a baked potato or sweet potato…then later I might have something I put in the freezer such as a low carb slim fast or yogurt. The calcim from the yogurt is so relaxing & good for sleep but I don’t have any trouble anyway at having a good night sleep.
Is that nutritional enough, is there enough fiber is it too high in calories.
I also make sure I have half my body weight amount in ounces of water I drink & I stop a few hours before bed time. I exercise doing aerobics about 30 minutes & do some yoga & tai chi for another 30 a day.
What do you see as not good or that I can improve upon. Oh, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes but unless I have stress (which I am working on) I feel great. Any advice?
Because most likely;y if you didn’t eat the bread stick you may still feel hungry. In your situation it’s probably better to eat a number of small snacks throughout the day. So an even balance is maintained and the insulin levels don’t fluctuate as much
Maybe you sould eat every three hours so you dont crave food. You can eat soda as long as it is zero calories and it souldnt hur ur diabities because they usualy use splenda sugar. Eat about 400 calories in the morning and 100 for snack 400 again for then 100 and finaly 400 and if you ar still hungry 50 more eat like this every 3hours .
