I dont like running, but im limited in money, so it has to be something i can easily have access too. Ive been on low carb diet for a week and ive lost about 7 or 8 lbs, any suggestions would help. please dont be mean.

Carbohydrates are in foods. Some foods have more carbohydrates than others. So by eating specific foods, you could be eating a high amount of carbs, depending what you are eating.

If I go on a low carb diet, will it lower the amount of good bacteria in my gut?
Also, if I take probiotics, will they be able to be sustained in my gut on a low carb diet or will the probiotics be ineffective in providing benefits if I am on a low carb diet?

How do you calculate the carbohydrates in food? I know that you have to back out the fiber from the total, and also the sugar alchohol. But most of the nutritional information on packages says, ’sugars’ not ’sugar alchohol’. Is it the same thing?
